We're as baffled by the name as you are. Brilliant product, odd branding.

Bluetooth specialist Avantronics has come up with a corker of a new import - a text to speech solar charging speakerphone.

It’s a hands free and speaker phone designed for drivers who are already draining the car battery with their mobile, MP3 and headset.

After a couple of hours exposure to the sun, it’ll be charged enough to give you sixty minutes of talk time. No need to worry about solar panel eye sores on your dashboard. The elegantly design of this solar powered speakerphone catapulted it into the final of  this year’s CTIA Wireless Awards ceremony in Las Vegas.

Arguably its best asset is the text to speech function. When you receive a call, the model will announce the name or number of the caller, allowing you to keep your hands on the wheel and eyes on the road. Voice dialling helps you maintain concentration too.

There’s a lot of excitement in the market about the solar speaker, claimed Phoebe Yi, sales and marketing director of Avantronics. “Sunday Pro has been extremely well received in other countries. It’s the ultimate in hands-free safety and a solution to the power supply problem. Expect the Sunday Pro to be the UK market leader in a year”.

Sunday Pro comes with phone book synchronisation, echo cancellation and noise suppression, auto reconnection, multi-pairing, one-touch answer, call rejection and last number redial.

Competition: We’ve got a free pair of speaker to give away. Simply answer this question:

What exactly is multi-pairing?
