War of words at Microsoft TechEd Australia
In the red corner...

Paul Schnell, CTO at App-DNA has thrown down the gauntlet to Chris Jackson, Microsoft’s ‘appcompat guy’, betting that the feedback ratings on his presentation at Microsoft TechEd Australia will trounce those that Chris receives. Brave words, considering ‘the appcompat guy’ is also known as ‘the consistently bloody high ratings guy’.
According to Paul’s blog: “Recently over dinner in Seattle at the Microsoft TechReady 13 event, we discovered we were both going to be presenting on application migration and application compatibility at Microsoft TechEd Australia. For some reason I felt obliged to challenge Chris and his ridiculously good ratings and said I would better him – madness, sheer madness.”
So, for anyone attending TechEd, interested in seeing what App-DNA and Microsoft have to say on the subject of application compatibility for Windows 7, Server 2008 R2, IE, App-V and more, you might just get a presentation with a difference. In the red corner we have the feisty terrier from App-DNA and in the blue we have the super hero appcompat man – who will get your vote?
